Plan to attend this year’s Cooking with Donna event during the 2013 University of Okoboji Winter Games.

There are still a few spots left at the Cooking with Donna event during the 2013 Winter Games.  This cooking demo and tasting takes place on Saturday Jan. 26th from 10am to 12 noon.  Seating is very limited so make plans now to register for this indoor Winter Games event.  It is $10 per person and everyone gets to enjoy each dish that Donna makes and also door prizes are given out throughout the show.  This year Donna will be featuring the cookbook, The Best of Iowa Bed and Breakfast Recipes.  This unique cookbook celebrates over 25 years of the Iowa Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers Association and features 334 recipes from many innkeepers who have been long-term members.  Also included in the cookbook are recipes from the Iowa State Fair contest winners that IBBIA sponsors every year.  Call 712 332-2358 to reserve your place at this year’s cooking show.  It is always a fun and enjoyable event.

Shop The Wash House gift shop in West Okoboji this holiday season.

The Wash House gift shop in West Okoboji has quite an assortment of Snoozies to choose from.  If you are needing some stocking stuffers or want to give the gift of a new robe and pj bottoms, then we have it.  Nothing better than a cute pair of Snoozies to keep your feet warm this winter.  There are dog, cat, wine, owl themed patterns and many more. Even the guys won’t feel left out, we have some sports patterns and even camo designs for the hunters.  Gift shop hours this holiday season are Mon-Sat. 10-5 and Sundays 1-5.  Extended hours on Thursday evening to 7pm til Christmas.
